Twilight doesn't collect the awaited

The film "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is not so popular at the box office but still posted a strong start, with $ 161 million raised in the early days.

The third film in the romantic vampire series suffered a sharp drop in ticket sales after debuting in U.S. theaters, with a take of $ 68.5 million.

This was the second best opening registration, behind his movie predecessor, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," earned $ 72.7 million dollars last year.

The firm Summit Entertainment, which distributed "Eclipse", believes the film will raise around 181 million dollars collected in the United States.The film also totaled $ 100.2 million dollars in 42 markets outside the United States.

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was found with a larger fan base that "New Moon", as there was a higher percentage of males attending the cinemas to see the latest film.
